- **Prevents Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs):** Poorly designed furniture, such as chairs or desks that don’t support proper posture, can lead to musculoskeletal issues like back pain, neck strain, and repetitive stress injuries (RSIs). Over time, these conditions can result in chronic pain, decreased mobility, and long-term health problems.
- **Increases Productivity:** Comfortable employees are more focused and less distracted by discomfort. Ergonomically designed furniture, such as chairs with adjustable lumbar support, height-adjustable desks, and appropriately placed monitors, can improve posture, reduce fatigue, and enhance overall concentration. This translates to better performance and higher productivity.
